Meet the Owner, Jennifer
I have always believed in the healing power of horses. Their presence has shaped me in ways that go far beyond riding—emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually.
Growing up without parents and facing a difficult upbringing, I often had to find strength within myself. Horses became that source of strength. They provided comfort, stability, and a sense of peace during some of life’s most challenging moments. From a very young age, I discovered that simply being around horses could bring clarity, healing, and hope. Ever since I can remember, I have been drawn to horses. One of my earliest memories is watching a horse-drawn carriage pass down the street from a small local farm. I would eagerly wait and hope for a glimpse of their black Percheron, “Blackie,” as he made his way past our home. At the age of ten, I began taking riding lessons, and from that point on, I was hooked. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a dream: to one day have a horse of my own.
That dream became a reality with Carbonado, a black Percheron who represented far more than ownership—he was the embodiment of years of hope, determination, and love for these incredible animals. From there, my journey only deepened. I immersed myself in the equestrian world, exploring a wide range of disciplines including barrel racing, jumping, dressage, and driving.
Today, I am incredibly grateful to own a farm filled with horses that bring purpose and joy to my life each day. Dream Star Stables is not just a place—it is the realization of years of passion, perseverance, and belief. Today, my mission is to share that same joy and healing power with others. Dream Star Stables stands as a reminder that dreams truly do come to life and that no matter where you come from, you should always reach for the stars.
All of this inspired our slogan, "Where Dreams Meet the Stars." It is more than just a phrase. It reflects the heart of Dream Star Stables and everything we believe in.
