Meet your trainer, Lily McGraw. With a passion for horses and a specialized background in equine driving, Lily brings professional experience and hands-on expertise to every aspect of her work.
She began riding in 2015 and pursued formal training at SUNY Morrisville, where she earned both an associate’s and a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science and Management, specializing in Draft Driving and Training.
During her studies, Lily worked with SUNY Morrisville’s nationally ranked Belgian hitch, serving as a driver for single, team, and four-horse hitches classes and assisted with the six-horse hitch. She competed throughout the Northeast, including at the National Belgian Show, gaining valuable experience in high-level competition and professional horsemanship.
After graduation, she trained and showed horses at a private barn, further refining her skills in training, handling, and safety. Lilly is committed to delivering knowledgeable, professional, and safety-focused equine driving service with dedication to educating clients and preserving the tradition of equine driving.

Driving Lessons
- Private single horse driving lessons. You will learn longlining as well as driving in a cart.
- Private Pair driving lessons. You will learn longlining, single and pair driving.
- Private groundwork lessons. You will learn leading, lunging, round pen work, and longlining
- Show preparation lessons. You will learn how horse shows operate, show-specific grooming, and how to clean the harness and vehicle to show-level standards.

Important Information
All training packages will be tailored to the horse's needs and may be subject to change as their progress dictates.
Clients may use our miniature horses for lessons at our stables or our trainer will travel to your property.
Horse training and driving lessons can be packaged together depending on skill level of both horse and driver.
